After months of hard work and years of preparation the crop of Ruby Racing and Breeding’s 2023 draft have gone under the hammer.
The top lot for the farm was early on day 1 — a $130,000 Brutal filly out of Sentimental Belle for clients. Ruby Racing and Breeding homebreds met the market at $60k a piece for the Astern colt out of Maia Nebula (Fantail Holdings) and the Calyx filly out of Bombay (Stewart Racing).
Ruby Racing and Breeding grossed $722,500 across the draft of 14, of which 11 sold at an average of $65,682 — within the top 10 vendors across the sale.
