Loves Talking — Stakes Placing

2024 Graduate Loves Talking (Jesse Quick × I’m All The Talk) on Saturday became the first of the 2024 crop to gain valuable black type for the filly.

She was, in February, our first runner and first winner — easily winning her first start by an eased-up 1.6 lengths. Bought and managed by the Luke Fernie camp, she has made her $35k price tag back four times over within twelve months.

First-up in the Gimcrack she fought hard for third and will progress to the Karrakatta Plate in two weeks, just like Earthstorm before her in the same race last year before finishing 2nd in the biggest race for 2YOs in WA.
