Twisted Steel headed to the spelling paddock following two impressive victories. His Northam maiden debut produced a 4-length win — the biggest margin of any 2YO in Western Australia in 2025, and the biggest since stablemate and future gun West Star almost a year prior. Carrying a high rating into the relocated Belmont meeting he started a $1.24 favourite and won by 3.4 lengths.
