Twisted Steel powered away with the $250,000 Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy over 1200 metres at Pinjarra, delivering as favourite for Simon Miller Racing after his sharp Ascot win. He travelled strongly, peeled wider into clear running and put the race away by two lengths in a time just outside the track record.
The win moved him to four wins and a second from eight starts, with earnings beyond $360,000 and valuable black type on the page. For a $100,000 Perth yearling purchase, he has quickly become one of the headline graduates from the Ruby draft.
